Yep! We name our dogs after futbol (soccer) players from Manchester United. Our good boy is named after Zlatan and he goes by Ibrah for short (EE-BRUH).
Ibrah is four years old and we adopted him from Carolina Poodle Rescue when he was a puppy. He is a joy for our whole family.

Impossible question. I have no idea! I read so many books every year and can usually narrow it down to a top ten each year and I have several must-read authors.

Mostly fiction with my favorites being thrillers, contemporary, or queer romance. I dabble in non-fiction, usually with memoirs.

Very little for how much I read. I get the vast majority of my books from the library and I have two monthly audiobook subscriptions that I share with my daughter.
I usually purchase 7-8 physical books a year from my local bookstore and read about 100-150 books a year. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to read great books!

Either through NetGalley or through the publisher’s influencer program. I find that if you are willing to take a digital edition (kindle, e-reader) and aren’t focused on the print edition, it is much easier to access advanced copies.

I worked a corporate career for 20+ years before starting my own business. I now have flexibility with my time, and it’s much easier to prioritize hiking and books.

Sarah Pekkanen is one of my tried-and-true mystery authors and I was intrigued to see her latest book, The Women in White, incorporate a historical fiction plotline. This novel followed four women in the 1960s who were part of a university research study on parapsychology experiments. All four women abruptly disappeared, and the study ended, leaving a mystery behind.
